Commissions

For private collectors and residential interiors, commissioned works may be developed around a particular scale, architectural setting, palette or emotional direction while remaining unmistakably within Sunseri's artistic language.

Projects may include original paintings on canvas or board, mixed-media works, illuminated and neon artwork, sculptural pieces, statement works for significant architectural spaces, and site-specific installations.

Sunseri can work directly with the collector or collaboratively with an interior designer, architect, art advisor, developer or other member of the project team.

For luxury residences and properties being prepared for presentation or sale, original artwork may also be commissioned to respond specifically to the architecture and character of the property.

For hospitality and commercial environments, Sunseri creates site-specific commissioned artwork and large-scale art installations conceived as part of the experience of a space.

Projects may range from a singular focal artwork to an installation developed for a lobby, reception area, restaurant, bar, lounge, guest environment or other prominent architectural setting.

Rather than approaching artwork as decoration added at the end of a project, a commission can be considered alongside the architecture, interiors, lighting, circulation and visual identity of the environment.

Sunseri welcomes collaborations with boutique hotels, restaurants, hospitality groups, interior designers, architects, developers, art consultants and creative agencies.

An artwork does not need to be permanent to be significant.

Sunseri can create original commissioned works for private events, brand environments, launches, celebrations, cultural events and temporary installations.

These may include sculptural art objects, illuminated works, custom neon, mixed-media constructions, artistic set pieces and large-format installations conceived specifically for the occasion.

The distinction is important: these are not conventional event props or generic décor. They are artist-created objects and installations, developed with the same visual consideration as permanent work, but designed to exist within the particular world of an event.

Where appropriate, a commissioned piece may also be conceived so that it can continue to live as an artwork after the event itself has ended.

Sunseri is also available for commissions developed specifically for film, television, stage, editorial and creative productions.

A production may require an artwork that belongs convincingly to a fictional collector, a distinctive sculptural object for a set, an illuminated installation, a painting created specifically for a scene, or an original piece designed around the visual language of a production.

Working from a creative brief, Sunseri can collaborate with production designers, art directors, set decorators, creative directors and other production teams to develop original artwork appropriate to the narrative, environment, scale and production schedule.
